My name is Tony Vigneau and I am a Certified Professional Inspector (CPI)®. I have over 30 year’s combined experience in the Construction, Maintenance, Home Repair, Remodeling and Home Inspection fields.  I have thousands of hours of practical hands-on experience and have inspected more than 1500  homes in New Mexico since 2006.  I am a member of InterNACHI, the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors, the worlds largest and most qualified Home Inspection Trade organization.

Energy Awareness

We have also included as part of our Full Home Inspection Package, a home energy inspection by a InterNACHI - Certified Home Energy Inspector.  At Santa Fe Home Inspection Services we are concerned about our enviroment and future energy needs.  We are offering  InterNACHI  HOME ENERGY INSPECTIONS which identify 45 critical house componets related to energy use.  We score the house on a scale of 1 to 100 using a web-based energy calculator developed by Lawrence Berkeley National Labratory in collaboration with the U.S. DOE (Department of Energy).  A 12 page report will be issued listing recommendations for energy upgrades that are specific to your house as well as estimate how much of theses energy saving improvements can reduce your utility costs.  The report is based on the data that is collected during the inspection, national averages of cost of installation of specific energy upgrades, and the state averages of utility costs.
